One of the main events of each FIFA generation, and now of EA Sports FC 25, is the Team of the Year, usually abbreviated as TOTY, or the Selection of the Year. The occasion celebrates the best players of the year, who arrive in the Ultimate Team mode as powerful and highly coveted cards by the community.
The Team of the Year is nothing more than an annual promotion that has become extremely popular in the Ultimate Team mode of EA Sports’ football simulator. In the last edition of the partnership between the developer and FIFA, the top 100 players in the world from all countries and competitions were listed, and from these, 12 were chosen by popular vote. Together, they form the Team of the Year.
It’s worth noting that the players selected for the Team of the Year are released according to their positions. In previous years, the forwards were the first to be released in packs, followed by midfielders, defenders, and the goalkeeper. Then, the full team was made available in packs for a limited time.

Is it Worth Saving Coins or Packs until TOTY in EA FC 25?
This is an extremely valid question, and the answer really varies from person to person. To stay competitive in Ultimate Team, it’s important to follow the weekly events, always trying to include one or another addition that can elevate the team’s level.
However, the TOTY brings cards that are far above the curve, which typically remain relevant and effective until the end of Ultimate Team’s life cycle.
With that in mind, and with TOTY approaching, it is definitely worth saving any and all packs to be opened during the event. Even if that means missing the chance to acquire other special cards.
Even though it’s not guaranteed that you’ll pull something in any event, having even more chances to get a card rated 95 or higher during TOTY is much more appealing.
TOTY Prediction Even though there are only a few days left before the start of one of the best events of EA FC 25, the veteran players of the FIFA series know that nearly every year, EA Sports assembles its Team of the Year in a 4-3-3 formation.
In the defense, similar to previous years, it is highly likely that Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson will be chosen.
Along with the goalkeeper, Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk is another player who is almost certain to make the team.

On the left wing, Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid is a guaranteed choice.
On the right wing, the most famous Arab footballer, Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.
As a striker, Mbappé or Erling Haaland might complete the team.
In this final position, the lack of great performances and frequent presence in the TOTW means that even the most optimistic players might not bet all their chips on a specific player.
Additionally, it’s possible that both players will be present, with one of them as the 12th player.
