Every player you put in the starting lineup can reach up to 3 individual chemistry points.
The maximum total for the team (11 starting players) is 33 points (11 × 3) if all reach 3 points.
This system replaces old models where the goal was to achieve "100 team chemistry." Now the focus is on the chemistry of each player individually.
Having high chemistry makes players "feel better" on the field: they receive attribute boosts through chemistry styles and play more fluidly.
How Links Work — Club, League, Country
For a player to gain chemistry points, they need to be in their primary position or one of the allowed secondary positions. If they are out of position, they receive 0 points and neither help nor benefit from chemistry.
After that, links occur based on:
• Same Club
If you have multiple players from the same real club (for example, all players from Real Madrid) in your team, you start generating chemistry via "club link." For example:
Having 2 players from the same club generates +1 point for each of them.
Having 4 players from the same club generates +2 points for each.
Having 7 players from the same club generates +3 points.
• Same League
If you gather several players from the same league (for example, all from the Premier League), there are league links:
Having 3 players from the same league can generate +1 point for each.
Having 5 players from the same league can generate +2 points.
Having 8 players from the same league can generate +3 points.
• Same Country / Nationality
If you use players from the same nationality, this also generates links:
Having 2 players from the same nationality can generate +1 point.
Having 5 players from the same nationality can generate +2 points.
Having 8 players from the same nationality can generate +3 points.
• Manager / Coach
Additionally, the manager you choose for the team also provides +1 chemistry point for all players who share league or nationality with him.
• Special Cards (Icons / Heroes / Cornerstones)
Some special cards have their own bonuses that help the team's chemistry, even if you mix leagues/countries.
How to Build a Team for Maximum Chemistry
To ensure that all players have 3 chemistry (or as close as possible), here’s the step-by-step:
Choose a base — it can be an entire league, a country, or a club. Examples: many players from the Premier League + some compatriots, or many Brazilians, or a "core" from a club like Real Madrid.
Fill in the links — make sure you reach the thresholds (for example, 8 players from the same league or nationality for +3) for each target player.
Check positions — each player must be in their correct or allowed alternative position so they effectively receive chemistry.
Add the appropriate manager — choose a coach from the same league or nationality as most players to gain +1 point for each compatible player.
Use hybrids if you want to vary — if you want to mix leagues or nationalities, focus on meeting the thresholds with groups (for example, 5 Brazilians + 6 Premier League players) to still achieve good links. Special players help smooth out this mix.
Monitor each player — in the team-building mode, you can see how many chemistry points each player is receiving and if they are reaching 3 points. If any player is below that (e.g., 1 or 2), check if they share league/country/club or have changed position.
Practical Examples
If you build a team entirely from the same league (for example, all from the Premier League), you have a high chance that many players will reach +3 chemistry because the league generates good links.
If you build a team of players all from the same country (for example, all Brazilians) — this can also work well to achieve +3 for many.
If you want to mix leagues and nationalities (hybrid): say 6 players from the Premier League + 5 Brazilians + 1 player from another country/leagues, you can get the 6 from the PL to gain chemistry from the league, the 5 Brazilians to gain from nationality, and the extra player may depend on club or linking to another core. Managers and special cards help to "close" the rest.
