Each season lasts an average of six weeks and brings new objectives, rewards, and themes. This dynamic helps keep the game always updated, with varied challenges and fresh content for players.
Season 1: Kickoff and Warm-Up
The first season, called "Kick-Off", begins with the game's launch in September. At this stage, the focus is on introducing the basic mechanics, encouraging players to build their first squads and try out the modes.
Initial rewards include basic packs, customisation items (tifos, emblems, balls), and special cards of low to medium value. It’s a phase where everyone is still exploring, building cheap teams, and learning to adapt to the new gameplay.
Season 2: Rise and Early Promotions
With the foundation established, the second season usually brings the first strong promotions, such as Road to the Knockouts (RTTK), celebrating European competitions (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League).
This is when special cards of standout players start to appear, receiving dynamic upgrades based on the real performance of the teams. Competitiveness increases, and the transfer market becomes much more active.
Season 3: Halloween and Thematic Events
In October, the "Rulebreakers" season or the famous Halloween event arrives. The focus is on players who receive different attributes than usual, changing their main characteristics to offer new tactical options.
The creativity of squads grows significantly at this stage, as players experiment with new formations and playing styles.
Season 4: Year-End Celebrations
The December season is always highly anticipated. In FC 25, we had events like Winter Wildcards and Versus, which bring festive cards and alternative versions of players, often with significant stat boosts.
This is also when the biggest market movement of the year occurs, as many players return or start playing during the holidays.
Season 5: Team of the Year (TOTY)
Between January and February comes the peak: the Team of the Year (TOTY) season. During this phase, the most coveted and highly valued cards in the game are released, representing the best players in the world from the previous season.
The TOTY always significantly impacts the economy of FUT, as players open thousands of packs in an attempt to obtain these rare items.
Season 6: Future Stars and Fantasy FUT
Right after the TOTY, events highlighting young talents and rising players begin. The Future Stars offers special cards for under-23 talents who may shine in the future, while Fantasy FUT introduces cards with upgrade potential based on on-field achievements.

Season 7: TOTS (Team of the Season)
Between April and June, the second major season of the game arrives: Team of the Season (TOTS). In this season, the best players from the top leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and others) receive super-boosted cards.
The TOTS is marked by significant market activity, various profitable Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), and a lot of extra content, attracting players for a final sprint of squad evolution.
Final Season: FUTTIES
The last season is known as FUTTIES, usually between July and August. This is the grand farewell of the cycle, celebrating the most memorable moments of the year.
