In Clubs of EA FC 26, EA implements a true revolution in player progression and team interactivity, with three major pillars: Archetypes, Live Events in Rush, and the much-anticipated Multiclub, along with other essential improvements.
Archetypes
The classic skill tree system has been replaced by 13 distinct Archetypes, inspired by football stars, allowing for deep and personalised developments. Each archetype features exclusive PlayStyles, Perks, and progression via Archetype XP (AXP). As you level up, you earn Attribute Points, unlock “Signature PlayStyles”, “Signature Perks”, and customisable skill slots. These elements create a unique identity for your Pro within the club.
Archetype Evolution
How to Unlock Archetypes?
When you access the Clubs mode for the first time, you will need to choose your initial archetype.
The other 12 available archetypes can be unlocked in different ways: using Clubs Coins, FC Points, or through unlock consumable items, which appear as rewards in certain activities.
How to Develop Your Archetype?
Whenever you participate in a match in Clubs, in EA SPORTS FC 26, you will earn Archetype XP (AXP). The more matches you play, the greater the accumulation of AXP. The total earned will depend on several factors:
Function Rating: the main source of AXP comes from the rating received at the end of the match. Higher performances guarantee greater rewards.
Gameplay Actions: each action taken on the field generates an additional amount of AXP, albeit on a smaller scale.
Match Mode: the volume of AXP obtained varies according to the type of game — whether in Clubs Leagues, knockout tournaments, friendlies, improvised matches, Clubs Rush, or even in Live Events.
In addition to matches, it is also possible to earn AXP in Skill Games. However, there is a weekly limit on the amount that can be acquired this way, similar to what occurred in previous editions.
Once you accumulate enough AXP, your archetype will level up, allowing for new improvements and features.

Live Events (Rush Live Events)
The dynamic knockout tournaments arrive, held in the new Rush Stadium, with varying rules, entry requirements, and great prizes, such as cosmetic items and progression consumables. Each event is individual (not by club), with a limited number of attempts, and may have multiple phases that unlock future tasks. Alternative rules, such as “Designated Scorer” or the fun
